Lulu is another of Buck Owens’ protégés who was asked to join the HEE HAW cast. Her droll delivery and deadpan humor put the punch in the “Culhanes” sketches and put the salt in the “Truck Stop” banter.

Lulu was often paired with Junior Samples in the “Cornfield” and the “Haystack” because she always brought out his best responses.

Lulu has a beautiful singing voice, and her gospel music performances are memorable. She’s recorded several gospel albums and continues to tour.
